Meet Clare – your partner in midlife health

For 25 years, I worked in corporate communications juggling pressure, performance, and long days.

I thought I was healthy.
Intense workouts. Calorie counting. Avoiding fat.

But it was all focused on how I looked from the outside.

Then midlife arrived.
Brain fog. Panic attacks. A changing body. Exercise that no longer felt right.

I resisted it. I pushed through. Because that’s what we do, right?

But when I experienced bereavement, an injury and redundancy in the space of three months, something shifted.

I realised how fragile our health and dignity can be.
And how we’re living longer but not necessarily living well.

So, I retrained as a Nutrition and Health Coach with the International Institute of Nutrition and Health.

I learned that many chronic health issues are driven by the way we live – our food choices, stress levels and daily habits. And more importantly, that we have more control than we think.

I changed how I approach my own health:
  • More strength training, less intensity
  • Eating more, but balancing a healthy plate
  • Replacing pressure with self-compassion.
Simple, sustainable habits that actually fit into midlife – and stick.

Now, I help other midlifers do the same.

What is Nutrition and Health Coaching? 

Nutrition and Health Coaching is a partnership focused entirely on you.

It helps you make realistic, long-term changes to your health, diet and lifestyle based on your needs and in a way that fits your life.Here’s how I support you:

Research continues to show its impact. The Compendium of Health and Wellbeing Literature describes professional health coaching as:“…holding great potential for advancing healthy behaviour change and stemming the rising tide in prevalence of chronic disease.”

A certified Nutrition and Health Coach 

  • I have a BTEC Diploma in Professional Health and Nutrition Coaching from the International Institute of Nutrition and Health.
  • I am a member of the UK & International Health Coaching Association.
  • I work to high professional and ethical standards, so you can feel confident you’re in safe, knowledgeable hands.
